Lady Magic is pleased to have Damion Wynne join our coaching staff in the fall of 2015 as the head coach of the Lady Magic 16 Gold team. Damion's 15 years of coaching experience includes both baseball and fastpitch softball. He has spent the last 7 years solely dedicated to teaching and developing student-athletes in women's fastpitch, including stints with the Delta Diamonds and Grapettes.
Damion's effictiveness on the dirt is highlighted not only by his ability to develop and tune solid fundamental skills in his players, but his desire to build and nurture the leadership traits required of high level, elite athletes.
Aside from his on-field head coaching duties, Damion is able to leverage skills from his career as an enterprise sales professional to build relationships with college recruiters and coaches. Extremly focused, his goal is to expose his Lady Magic player prospects to college opportunities not just by competing at the highest levels of the sport, but also ensuring his student-athletes understand the best practices of the recruiting process.
Damion was born and raised in the Bay Area and is a baseball/softball guy at heart. He currently in the East Bay with his wife and family. Sports, as a player and a coach has always been a big part of his life - "it opened doors and opportunities for me to meet exceptional people who share the same vision."
