| Early Lady Magic Teams |
|
The Maaco Magic organization was established in 1982. In 1984, the Sacramento Shady Ladies merged with Maaco Magic and it was decided to use the name Lady Magic, as it honored the heritage of both teams. This page is dedicated to honoring the talent and commitment of a pioneering group of young women who, in the early days of Fastpitch Travel Ball in this area, put Sacramento on the map!
1983 - The very first team to be called "Lady Magic". This team was comprised of
players from several different college teams, including UOP. This team
finished 3rd at Women's "A" Nationals in Hayward, Ca.

finish and marked the first of many Lady Magic trips to the Softball National Championships.

for all the marbles. After losing their first game on Sunday morning, the team fought back and earned
a spot in the National Championship game, losing 1-0 to defending champions Gordons Panthers.
