The Lady Magic 16U finished the Fall season going 4-1-2 at the Early Thanksgiving Showcase in Socal. It was a very successful season with an overall record of 26-9-4. There were many highlights during the showcase including homeruns from Cassidy Martin, Delanie Chrisman, Amee Aarhus, Zamari Hinton, Courtney Smith and Tori Bellin. The team will now go dark until their first tournament in Spring 2012. Thank you to all our supporters and fans for being there when the girls needed you. The Lady Magic 16U competed in the ASA 18G  "Toys for Tots" tournament last weekend and came out with a 6-1 record and second place. The girls fought down to the wire taking a very talented AASA Gold team into ITB before succumbing 2-1 in the end. Highlights include clutch hitting by Courtney Smith and a homerun by Cassidy Martin. Great fielding by Zamari Hinton, Alejandra "AG" Garcia and Molly Fowkes helped to keep opponents low scoring. Quality pitching from Marriah Levesque and Stephanie Heyward helped keep opponents at bay. Celina Matthias pitched in the championship game and came out with a .88 ERA. The girls improved their record to 22-8-2 on the season and will compete in their last showcase next weekend in Huntington Beach. Special thanks to Bailey O'Mara for helping out this weekend.
